How is the lotion different from the body oils?
The lotion is water-based and lighter in texture — it absorbs almost instantly and is ideal for daily use, warmer climates, or those who prefer a non-oily finish. The body oils are richer and more nourishing, suited to drier skin and the Abhyanga ritual.
Can I use the lotion after the body oil?
Yes — applying lotion over oil seals in moisture beautifully. Use the oil first, allow 2 minutes to absorb, then apply the lotion on top for maximum hydration on very dry skin.
Is it fragrance-free?
The Body Lotion has a light natural scent from Sandalwood and Amla extracts. It is free from synthetic fragrance, but it is not entirely fragrance-free.
Is it suitable for all skin types?
Yes — the formula is balanced for all doshas. Shatavari hydrates dry Vata skin, Sandalwood cools Pitta, and the lightweight texture suits Kapha types who prefer non-heavy moisturisers.
